The American Heart Association Kicks off 2019 Cotes du Coeur season January 24th!

Côtes du Coeur International Fine Wine Auction and Celebrity Chef Dinner

Côtes du Coeur is an annual, prestigious, black-tie event which raises funds for the Association.

The Event

This culminating black-tie gala event is the largest of its kind, making it the number one fundraising gala in the nation for the American Heart Association.

One of the largest fine wine auctions in the southwest, Côtes du Coeur features more than 30 of the most renowned wineries in the country. The celebrity chef dinner will feature 16 of Dallas’ most acclaimed chefs putting their culinary skills on display. Over the course of its 27-year history, this premiere fundraising event has attracted more than 24,000 attendees and has raised more than $38 million.

Big Bottle

Kick-off event to the 2019 Cotes du Coeur season! At this event, guests bring a large format wine bottle that will be included in the 2019 Cotes du Coeur Auction. Volunteers with assist with greeting guests and receiving, labeling and displaying these bottles throughout the event. A friendly competition will take place as the bottles are judged by a panel of wine experts.

Dallas GRFW

Go Red for Women is the American Heart Association’s movement to celebrate the energy, passion, and power of women to stand together to wipe out heart disease. This empowering event focuses on preventing heart disease and stroke by promoting healthy lifestyles and raising awareness through the support of the community to fund education and research of heart-related science in women. Volunteer opportunities include: event setup, registration, auction facilitation and check out, Open Your Heart facilitation, guest guidance, event strike.

Chef Announcement

Behold the talent and soul of Cotes du Coeur! At this event, the 2019 Celebrity Chefs unveil the Gala menu and featured wine pairings. Volunteers will assist with setup, registration, greeting guests and pouring wine throughout the event.

Going Once! Going Twice! SOLD! This party focuses on previewing the auction catalog and packages. The Wine Chair leads top- level sponsors and donors through the highlights and “auction lots to watch.” Volunteers will assist with setup, registration, greeting guests and pouring wine throughout the event.

Join the Texas Women’s Foundation at New Breakfast Club

This complimentary event series is an opportunity to engage with like-minded women and learn about the unique issues facing women, girls, and their families.

The Event

Join the Texas Women’s Foundation for a new complimentary content series where you’ll get the opportunity to learn about the unique issues facing women and girls here in North Texas and Dallas Women’s Foundation’s response through advocacy, research, and grantmaking.

The first installment of this series is January 15th. You’ll have a choice to attend a breakfast at the Federal Reserve Bank of Texas or a lunch at the Toyota Stadium in Frisco.

January’s topic will cover Clipped Wings: A Look at Millennial Women and Wealth. This research examines the challenges millennial women are facing building wealth due to economic policies and systems. This in-depth presentation will show the key indicators that are preventing the future generation of women from building and growing wealth, and what we can do as a community to help change this trajectory.

Anne E. Price, an experienced researcher, advocate, and trainer, who is also the first woman President of the Insight for Community Economic Development will be presenting on the topic.
